About Aura / The energy we bring

Built on technique.
Held together by people.

A community-driven, woman-owned Jiu Jitsu academy in Mount Pleasant. A place to show up with intention and grow together.

Our story / Our philosophy

Aura is the energy
you bring into a room.

Quiet confidence.
Shared effort. Real progress.

It’s your presence, your attitude, and your willingness to support the people around you. That idea sits at the heart of our academy.

We welcome beginners, hobbyists, families, and competitors from Mount Pleasant, Racine, Sturtevant, Caledonia, and beyond. Our teaching starts with clear fundamentals and grows with your goals.

Our community includes a strong women’s team and training partners at many stages of life. Everyone contributes to the energy on the mats.

Three simple
expectations.

  1. 01Forget about the outside world for an hour or so.
  2. 02Learn some Jiu Jitsu.
  3. 03Leave feeling better than when you walked in.
